Concrete Flatwork
“Flatwork” is any poured surface that moves along a horizontal plane. Concrete is the choice material for flatwork because it forms a near-perfect, level surface, and allows us to apply different finishes and textures to enhance the look and safety it. Examples of flatwork include:
- Sidewalks
- Walkways
- Driveways
- Curbs/Gutters
- Garages
- Basement Floors
- Stairs
J & S Concrete employs state-of-the-art equipment for the installation of concrete flatwork, enabling us to complete your residential, agricultural or commercial project with quality and speed.
Our crew will remove any old concrete, if necessary, and prepare the site. We will make custom forms to best suit the design and needs of the area where the new concrete will be poured. Although these forms will eventually be removed, they will make certain that the concrete is poured at the correct depth and remain level and flat until cured. Within this frame, a sub-base of rebar or aggregate will be laid to strengthen and help prevent cracks from forming in the new concrete. We do it right, every step of the way.
